Interview #011 with Yvette from New York (USA). Tuesday May 19, 2020

Topic of discussion; What Has Been Your Biggest Challenge In Life, And How Did You Overcome It?

We all have challenges and it is important to speak about them to help each other. Yvette wanted the interview to be as useful as possible to my audience with this topic. So sweet. She works hard on her life and on herself. The emotional and physical challenge of heartbreak from her marriage was hard for her. She said “When my castle in the sky imploded it was a very hard blow”. Therapy helped her to deal with the implosion of her castle in the sky.  I also loved when she said “When you decide you want therapy you have to decide to see your truth which was very difficult to see for myself”. She wanted people to think she had the perfect life and coming to terms with that was difficult. She said that even if you get the perfect life, what you want think you want is still not perfect. I admired her determination and strength to go through all she went through and to come out stronger that she ever thought she could. She also said “I realize that you can have the things you want but they might not happen the way you think they will”. She admits that she kept choosing the wrong partner because it felt like she had a stopwatch counting down the time that she was supposed to get married and have her family which caused her a lot of pressure. This is so true. So sweet when she said “I have learned to embrace my ongoing learning journey about myself”.

#GoldNuggetQuote I am a positive light. Sometimes even the best of loves don’t always work. Embrace the fact that some people come in your life to teach you but they are there only for a short time. There is nothing wrong with asking for help. I used the right tools to help me in life. There is no way to have a perfect life because we are not perfect beings. Come face to face with your truth. When we become so ridged in what we want we deprive ourselves. Embrace the fact that your life does not have to look like someone else's no matter how hard that may be. Ask yourself what truly makes you happy. We can keep reinventing ourselves and keep changing which is very exciting. Embrace the transformation. Ask for help when you need it even if you think you don’t need it. Believe in yourself. You have power within you that it would take a lifetime to tap into.
